NobleHouse Tailored Suits Come to Cayman

Master clothing tailor Vijay Wadhwani lists "spending a day in an uncomfortable suit" as a top activity any business person cannot afford to do, and after spending time in one of his hand-crafted custom wares, one cannot agree more.

Every four months or so, Mr. Vijay Wadhwani sets out from his workshop of some 120 tailors to drum up business and meet clients at each of his regular stops, starting in Massachusetts and culminating in a short tour in Cayman ... 

The data is sent via email to the Hong Kong offices, where, along with the photos he has taken of the customer, the tailors set to work on the order. ...

Noble House is split into three divisions: "Shirts", employing a staff of 25, "Ladies" with a complement of 7-8 tailors ... and "Men's", the largest division, with between 80 and 90 on the manufacturing side. 

"Every item is hand made from start to finish," says Mr. Vijay. He notes that customer preferences, whether it be to have a tighter or looser fit, or some customized style, are taken into consideration throughout the process.

To make the perfect outfit, however, he needs the perfect material. And a visitor to Mr. Vijay's makeshift 'shop' is met with a dizzying array of choices. Between 3,000 to 4,000 sample swatches accompany him on his travels, allowing the customer to see and feel the material before placing an order.

But what price for such attention to detail, such a focus on the customer and their satisfaction? Surprisingly affordable ...  Indeed, when compared to an off-the-shelf suit that must undergo numerous adjustments to be wearable, the price of a hand-tailored, custom Noble House is a bargain. Prices range depending on the styles and fabrics, starting as low as US$380.

And it is not just suits nor clothing for men that Mr. Vijay provides. "We can tailor shirts, trousers, coats, formalwear and more, for both men and ladies," he says. Adding, "And if a customer has a particular item of clothing they like, we will even reproduce it in our own materials." Noble House also offers package offers including multiple items for special prices and provides special offers for client referrals.

Once completed, suits are dispatched via courier to local agents Sky Services who clear them through customs and hand deliver the goods to the customer at no additional charge, providing a seamless process for the customer.
